I'm sorry, the title of this blog post through me for a loop at first sight. I'm from Canada, so when I saw "CBC at SDCC", my first thought was, "What's the Canadian Broadcast Corporation doing at a comic book convention?" But I caught on.
ReplyDeleteI will have to check out the Marvel site for details on that "Breaking into Marvel" panel, sounds interesting.
Hi, C.B.
ReplyDeleteI was at SDCC, and was able to attend to the Breaking into Marvel panel... nice and inspiring, but it left me wondering if there's a way to ask for a try-out script or something. I'm an artist with several miniseries and one-shots at Zenescope, Boom! and shorties at Heavy Metal and Metal Hurlant... I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask you.
Thanks, and I'm sorry if I'm being a pain, surely you receive tons of these requests.
I saw you at the SDCC as well! Like Axel says tryout scripts are a problem. I write my own, but I know I'm not very good at it.
