The last four pages of the new issue of Entertainment Weekly really stuck me as being some of the most innovative use of advertising space I've seen in recent memory.
You turn to just two blank black pages that make you go "What the fuck?", then you turn the page again and it's another all black spread with just the DVD Boxset for the final episodes of The Sopranos on it. I thought that final episode was brilliant and this ad promoting it was equally ingenious!

I guessed what it was for before the page flip, because who can afford to drop the cash on that much ad space & still play it so cool?
