I write all my Wonderlost scripts while listening to music. It's usually always to music from around the time periods the specific stories are set in; music that helps bring the memories back or are key to the stories I'm writing. I choose to do something a little different with the playlist I made for writing "What Matters Most..." for CBI though. I went ahead and included some newer music that captured the mood or feelings of some of the scenes in the panels, so it turned into a pretty eclectic mix if I do say so myself. Here you go...
Jack and Diane - John Cougar Mellencamp
The Gift - Angels & Airwaves
Melt With You - Modern English
Ocean Avenue - Yellowcard
The Flame - Cheap Trick
Screaming Infidelities - Dashboard Confessional
Hold Onto The Nights - Richard Marx
Never Say Goodbye - Bon Jovi
Short story, short list...

True Story:
In Jr. High ('80s) I was dating a girl. At one point I was supposed to go with her to a family reunion. She told me her cousin was in a band and he and the band might be there.
Well, as my luck rolls, I got pnumonia and couldn't go. Turns out, her cousin was in John Cougar's band and the entire band did show up!
So I missed hanging out with John Cougar right about the time Jack & Diane broke out!
Richard Marx?
Can you say, "raise your hand if your brother's a lame-o?!?!" Seriously though, I think I have that somewhere on a mix tape.
