Drain Details

The full eight page preivew of Drain, including some comments from me, has been posted on the All The Rage column over at Silver Bullet Comics Books. You can check it out here: http://www.silverbulletcomicbooks.com/rage/index1.htm

Also, just to set the record straight, I know how to spell Erik Larsen and Eric Stephenson. The interview was done over the phone so I'm not taking the blame for the spelling mistakes.

It was interesting to hear about you shopping around your project.

A friend of mine was trying work out a deal with a medium sized publisher. The deal-breaker was the publisher wanted 50% of any income for the next FIVE years, even if they had nothing to do with it!

Thanks for the compliments! We're looking at a spring 06 release for Drain right now, Richard. It's planned to be an ongoing series.

Take care,
C.B.

Spring...cool things for Spring then :)

When I first read about mangaverse and Dunn I was very enthusiastic and I loved the hype around it...unfortunately when I got them issues the "click" was not made and although I liked the premise and artwork I sold the series...

With this Series (Drain) I saw the images and they just burned my eyes...AWEsome stuff!! So a simple compliment was in place :)

One more question: will it have storyarcs or something like that?

I love storyarcs and I love miniseries and even within ongoing series there are arcs with a beginning/middle/end and I hope for such a case here :)
