We're beginning to think about the colors for SHIKI now that we have a publisher and João wants to start trying out a few people to see if they can achieve the more subtle, watercolor pallette he's hoping for. His friend Venâncio colored this up quick and I love it so I thought I'd share this image of Saya in sandland.

The Shiki art looks pretty cool. I know you can't share much, but is this coming out in America and is it a comic (since everything we've seen so far is single images)
Hey, I think I agree, I think this would look a little better with slightly more muted colores, especially the yellows.
But I'm really excited about this, I wanna see more!!!
Just a little question: is the artist Portuguese? Thanks and looking forward to your new works!
Yes, the artist is indeed Portuguese! Was the name a giveaway or do you recognize his work?
The name was indeed a giveaway. And no, I didn't recognize his work (even though I know a couple of Portuguese artists). Anyway, could you please tell me his entire name and explain how did you found him? Thanks.
Mr. Cebulski, Ricardo Venâncio here. Thanks for crediting me on the color work. Man, is this weird... Seeing something I zipped through just as a favor to a friend displayed here in your blog is too cool.
Cheers
